Anton Hübner GmbH & Co. was founded in 1936 when Hübner purchased the license to produce the "Tannenblut" (literally fir tree blood) natural flu and cold medicine.  This formula had been developed in the 1920's by a cleric, Parson Hurst, and his pharmacist friend, Dr Eduard Hiepe, and was made using pine tree honey, branch tips of green fir trees, and forest and meadow herbs native to the Black Forest area that were known >to have agreeable effects on the respiratory system.

Hübner expanded their product line in the 1950's and today their natural products for health, beauty and vitality are based on both tried-and-tested traditional formulas and current state-of-the-art scientific knowledge.  They use nature's great variety of plants, fruits and minerals to produce products that strenghen our health and are suitable for the whole family.

In Germany, Hübner products are sold exclusively through the Neuform chain of health food stores (Reformhaus), but they are also exported and available in over 30 countries around the world.
